GB/T4357-89 "carbon spring steel wire."
The standard is the cold-drawing carbon spring steel wire of common standards, mainly for the production of the stress state in a variety of work under the static spring. Work stress state of the spring wire can be divided into three levels ofavailability: B class for low-stress spring, C grade for medium stress springs, D grade for highly stressed springs.Assessment of finished steel tensile strength, twisting, winding and bending four properties, the mechanical properties ofcommon specifications as shown in Table 4. Description: ① Φ ≤ 4.0mm Class D and Φ ≤ 6.0mm wire, B grade, C grade steel wire diameter equal to 2 laps wound on a mandrel, after winding surface of the sample may not cause cracks and breaks. ② Φ> 4.0mm wire class D 2 times the wire diameter of the coil 2 wound on a mandrel, after winding surface of the sample may not generate cracks and fracture. ③ Φ> 6.00mm wire should be bent test specimen along the arc R = 10mm 900 to bend in different directions, bending may not generate cracks and fracture.
B and C grade steel is generally used in 70 #, 72A or 65Mn, D-level selection T9A and 82B production. This standard is mainly used for production of static mechanical wire springs, the vibration frequency of the secondary service period than non-mechanical spring, on the fatigue life have certain requirements, finished also increased torsion of the assessment.Steel wire rod and therefore should be used with electric or electric + furnace smelting refining, wire rod P ≤ 0.030%, S ≤ 0.020% and so on.
